Show Them You Care – Our cats need love and attention just like we do. Show them how much you care by giving them attention and those little extras they need like cat toys, collars and the occasional treat. Be Aware of Body Weight – It’s just as easy for your cat to gain weight as it is for you to gain weight. This is probably more of an issue for indoor cats and cats that have been fixed. Talk to your vet about what a healthy weight is for your cat. Excess fat can cause health problems just like it can for people. Encourage your cats to get exercise with a variety of fun toys.
